1. Open the product app block and select the more settings option.
2. Around the middle of the pop up, deselect the auto-fulfill orders checkbox.
3. Download, install, and activate the flow below in Shopify Flow.
Linking
Please download the attached flow. This flow uses a MeshTix flow trigger that activates whenever a customer is linked to a ticket. This setup helps communicate to the person receiving the linked ticket.
Ticket linking is a handy tool that lets buyers easily pass any ticket they've bought to someone else. Once the transfer is done, the new owner gets a custom message created through a Shopify flow trigger, giving a personalized touch. One of the best parts about this linking feature is that when a ticket changes hands, all the related questions tied to that ticket automatically follow the new owner. This keeps all the important details intact, making the handover smooth and hassle-free for everyone involved. Another cool aspect is that ticket linking will automatically connect to an existing Shopify customer or set up a new one.

Question Sets
Question sets are a flexible form tools that let events collect important customer information from different touch points within your business setup. These touch points include the checkout page, the thank you page after a successful purchase, the order status page where customers can reference their orders, the customer account area for managing personal details, and the Point of Sale (POS) system. For example, you might require a safety waiver during checkout to boost compliance and lower risk; ask customers to upload a verification photo on the order status page before they can download their tickets, adding a layer of security and authenticity; or allow attendees to easily update their registration info by logging into their account before check-in, making the registration process smoother. Handling the answers to your collected event data is now simple and intuitive, thanks to the handy product, customer, and order application blocks built right into your admin workflows. These app blocks allow you to easily edit responses and even edit photos linked to particular questions. Plus, you can create and update questions straight from the Point of Sale (POS) system, making the whole process smoother and giving you full control over the content and information you collect. Finally, every set of questions is carefully crafted to connect either to the customer or their particular order. This thoughtful method makes sure that the responses stay tied to the order or the buyer for many years, supporting ongoing personalization and a seamless customer experience. For instance, a buyer might keep their membership photo for a few years before needing to update it with a new one. Likewise, your website could easily remember your customers’ dietary preferences each time they visit, customizing their shopping journey and boosting their loyalty. The possibilities for using question sets are endless, providing powerful ways to improve customer interaction along with sound event management and logistics.

Next, enter all necessary details, including the description, photos, pricing, and inventory. Make sure to turn off the shipping option. After entering all the details, ensure you hit the save button. Once the product is saved, scroll down toward the bottom of the product page and add the MeshTix product block. By adding the MeshTix app block, the product will become an event ticket.
Getting your Shopify website ready to sell online tickets is a breeze. Let’s begin by ensuring your event product is live and the online sales channel is selected. Next, we’ll edit your live theme and add some MeshTix app blocks. First, access the thank you page and add the MeshTix app block to your preferred location. Then, load up the order status page and repeat the process by adding the MeshTix app block to the desired location on your order status page. Don’t forget to save your changes. Now, your online store will display downloadable tickets and event details on both your thank you and order status pages.
Scanning your online tickets is conveniently done right within Shopify Point of Sale! Simply add the MeshTix app to your POS. To do this, go to your POS settings, select apps, and turn on the MeshTix app. Next, choose the location where you plan to scan tickets and access the smart grid. Once you’re in the grid of your selected location, add the MeshTix app to it. Now, you’re all set to scan your event tickets directly from Shopify POS.
MeshTix app blocks should be installed in three main areas: Shopify Admin, Shopify POS, and your Online Store.

- Customer Profiles — Lets staff manage customer ticket information, including linked tickets and profile data.
Shopify POS
On Shopify POS, you should install the MeshTix app tiles for:
- Ticket scanning
- Question and answer management
You’ll also want to enable the MeshTix order extension in POS settings so staff can quickly access ticket check-in directly from an order.
Online Store
MeshTix app blocks can also be installed in several areas of your online storefront:
- Checkout (Shopify Plus only) — Displays required questions before checkout.
- Thank You Page — Gives customers access to their tickets immediately after purchase.
- Order Status Page — Lets customers view tickets from their order confirmation page.
